What is the source of the book description and cover in Aerio?

The description that appears on the book page is automatically populated with information from Ingram Book Company. The source of this information is from the book publisher or content owner and is sent to Ingram through an ONIX feed.

CoreSource Customers:

For some publishers, this book information is sent to and controlled in CoreSource, an Ingram product for ebook distribution and content management. This metadata feeds through to Ingram Book Company, which is what Aerio interprets and presents to consumers.

Spark Customers:

For some publishers and authors, this book information is controlled through Spark, an Ingram product for self-publishing. This metadata feeds through to Ingram Book Company, which is what Aerio interprets and presents to consumers.
