Creating a Brand

You can add your logo and other branding elements to your Bookstore, Collections, Store Checkout, and also to each Book Page.

Customize Your Bookstore and Collections:

1. Sign in to your Aerio Dashboard and click on the menu and pick "Store Settings" button:

2. Click on "eye icon" button to go to your storefront.

3. Click on the "Edit Store" button in the upper right corner, or open a collection page and click the "Edit Collection" for further customization.

Here you will see options to:

• Choose your Header Theme and layout: Simple Theme or Logo Theme.

• The Simple Theme features a background image with the title and description centered over the image.
  
  
  
  
• The Logo Theme adds the option to include your logo to the left of your title, and description.
  
  
  
  
• Toggle between a dark overlay with white text (good for busy backgrounds against which text might be lost), or no overlay with black text (good for clean, bright backgrounds or if you choose not so include any text in the name and description field).

• Update your Title and Description.

• • If editing your storefront, text is pre-filled based on the Store Name and Description provided at set-up, but can be edited at any time.
  • Use the description field to tell readers about your books, your store, or special promotions. We recommend keeping this to 300 characters or less to ensure the best display across devices.
  • The description field accepts simple HTML tags including bold (<b> or <strong>) and italics (<em> or <i>).
• Change your Background and Logo.
  
  • Best practices for background images:
    • Recommended size: 1200x650px.
    • The header is designed to be responsive to screen size and the content in your header. Your background image may be cropped to different ratios depending on device, screen size, and how long your store name and description text are.
    • For best results, we recommend an abstract, patterned, or tiled image that can be cropped to different dimensions and still look good.
    • Try resizing your browser window after you save changes to see how it looks on different screen sizes.
  • Best practices for logos:
    • Logos should be at least 360px
    • Try using a logo with a transparent background to ensure it looks good against your header image.

Once you've customized your branding and layout, click "Publish" to save changes.

 To Customize Your Product Page & Store Checkout:

1. Sign in your Aerio Dashboard and click on the menu and pick "Store Setup" button.

1.  Add text you would like to display at the top of your book page & checkout screen.

2. Upload a logo image you would like to display at the top of your book page & checkout. 

Your logo will display at 28 pixels tall, and a max width of 180px on mobile.  We recommend you make your logo 56 or 112 pixels tall so that it displays high quality on retina and high-resolution devices. 

3. Choose the background color and text color for your header and footer. Choose from our color spectrum, or add your custom Brand Hex color code (ex. #0c0aa7) and click "choose".
