How to Upload your ebooks

Aerio allows you to upload ebooks for free, to sell on their own or to sell alongside print books. To upload an ebook, follow the steps below:

• From your Aerio Dashboard, choose “Ebooks”

• Then select "Upload"

• “Upload a PDF” is for illustrated books or those with complex layouts
• “Upload an ePub” is for conventional ebooks with reflowable text.

*Reflowable ePubs are the adaptable type, mostly text. Fixed layout ePubs are page replicas if representing a digital version of a print book, and won’t be reflowable.

*Epub upload size is limited to 75MB or less.

• Upload
  • Choose your file from your computer (Epub or PDF).
• Book Metadata
  • Add title, author, ISBN 13 or EAN*, publisher, category and a description.

*Please note, you cannot use the same ISBN that is currently assigned to a print title. If you do not have a unique ISBN for your ebook, please leave blank.*

• Retail Settings
  • Add list price (Aerio requires a $2.99 minimum)
  • Add the on-sale date
  • Check the box "Allow Discounting" to allow other Aerio stores to discount your ebook (optional)
  • Add your preferred Marketplace Discount (recommend 50%)

• Link Print ISBN (Optional)
  • Add related ISBN(s), to sell different formats* of the same title side-by-side (print title, audio book, etc.)
    • *Note, formats must be available in the Aerio catalog
• Book Preview (Required)
  • The Book preview feature is only available with a subscription. Choose the chapters you would like to display now, so it's ready if/when you you add-on this feature:

  • 
• Social Media (Optional) 
  • Add social metadata to make your Ebook more discoverable in social streams
    • Keywords
    • Twitter #Hashtags
  • You can also provide links to your social accounts. These links will show up on an ebook's preview page
    • Link Twitter accounts
    • Link Facebook pages
    • Link Pinterest accounts
    • Link other websites
    • Link LibraryThing book or author pages

• Click "Complete ebook Upload" and your Aerio ebook is complete!
