You can apply a discount to almost every title in the Aerio catalog.
The discount floor is determined by the profit you are able to earn through Aerio on a particular title. Users can discount the cost of a book down to the wholesale price or conversely sell for more than list price depending on how much revenue they want to make per title.
We manage discounts in two ways:
- Applying a discount to a single title
- Applying a discount to a group of titles
Discount a Single Title:
- Sign into your Aerio account
- Select My Inventory from the Store tab
- Choose the book you would like to discount and click “Product Settings”
The minimum price you can set for each title is listed under YOUR PRICE:
You can alter either Your Price or Discount the title by an actual percentage. The Profit will change as you adjust pricing. Once complete, click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Remove Discount on a Single Title:
To remove a discount on a single title, follow the same steps above and select 0% for your DISCOUNT and then Save Changes.
Discount Multiple Titles:
- Sign into your Aerio account
- Select “My Inventory” from the Store tab
- From here, you have two options:
- Option 1: you may check off each title you want to discount on the left-hand side to auto-populate the ISBNs and then click “Bulk Actions” drop down menu
- Click “Apply Discount”
- Option 2: You can pick “Apply Discount” from drop down menu to copy/paste a list of ISBNs to discount or you choose to “Apply to all Inventory” from this screen:
- Choose the Dates you wish to run the discounts, the amount you wish to discount, and then select Apply Discount!
Removing a Discount on Multiple Titles:
If you wish to remove ALL discounts from your inventory, select Discounts from the My Inventory tab as shown above, and select Remove Existing Discounts:
Check the box that says Apply to all Inventory and then Delete Discounts.
Alternatively, you may copy/paste ISBNs into the box or select titles as shown above to prepopulate the ISBNs.
