There are also several ways you can customize your ebook in the "Book Dashboard".
To get here, go to your "My Inventory" page, and find the ebook you'd like to customize. eBooks are indicated with a blue background and a blue "Choose Settings" drop-down.
Click the "Choose Settings" drop-down and "Book Dashboard".
From here you have the following options:
- Marketing Tab (*Note, you must be signed up for a Subscription to access Marketing features - For more information about subscriptions, see: Why do I need an Aerio Subscription?)
- Manage reports
- See Book Statistics
- View Other Retailer Click Stats (if other retailer links have been added below)
- Download user emails
- Manage your email sample settings
- Manage other retailers
- Manage your Book Preview chapters
- Manage reports
- Retail Tab
- Enable the ebook as a free giveaway (*Note, you must be signed up for a Subscription to access this feature)
- Update your Aerio List price, Store Price & Publication Date
- Manage your Marketplace Discount & if you’re allowing other stores to discount your ebook
- Manage the type of DRM for your ebook
- Social Tab
- Input keywords
- Input Twitter hashtags
- Add accounts for Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ and LibraryThing
- Add other websites (publisher, author, book)
- Update ePub Tab
- Where you can go if you need to upload a new ePub file to replace the current one
- Book Information Tab
- Manage your book info including Title, Book Cover, and your description
- You can also create a Cover Widget of your ebook that can be embedded on your website or blog. A cover widget includes your ebook cover image, along with a custom call-to-action and social sharing buttons. To create a Cover widget, follow these steps:
- Click “Create Cover Widget” on the upper right corner of your screen
- Choose your widget size, Call-to-action text, the alignment you’d like the widget to show on your website page, and if you’d like to show sharing buttons
- (*Should see these automatically update on the right side of the screen)
- Copy the code provided and paste it into your website or blog
- Choose your widget size, Call-to-action text, the alignment you’d like the widget to show on your website page, and if you’d like to show sharing buttons
- Click “Create Cover Widget” on the upper right corner of your screen
- You can also share your ebook through the book dashboard
- On the left-side of the screen under the ebook cover image and description, you’ll see “Social Share” with buttons for Facebook, Twitter, Email & Pinterest
- Click on the preferred social channel and a box will open to customize your message. This will also include your ebook description and any social metadata you’ve added to your ebook
- When a reader clicks on this link, it will take them to your ebook preview!
