How do I change the description on a book page?

Selling a print book? 

The description that appears on the book page has been populated with information from Ingram Book Company, provided by the book's publisher. Learn more about the source of that information here. 

You can add a custom description that will load before the pre-populated description under “Product Settings” for that book. See How to Customize / Edit Book Pages

Selling an ebook? 

When you upload an ebook in your Aerio dashboard, you will add your own description for the ebook that will show up on the book page and preview.

You can update this description at anytime in your ebook's "Book Dashboard" - See below instructions: 

• Login to your Aerio dashboard and click on "Store" and then "My Inventory."
• Find the ebook you'd like to edit and click the blue "Choose Settings" drop-down and "Book Dashboard." 

• Once in the Book Dashboard, click on the tab to the far right called "Book Information."
• Delete or edit the description and click "Save" at the bottom of the page

• The ebook description will now be updated on the book page and preview. The image below is the book page. 

• The image below is the book preview. 

Selling both the print and ebook format of a title? 

Stay with me on this because it may sound a little confusing! 

• The description that appears on the book page has been populated with information from Ingram Book Company, provided by the book's publisher. • The description that appears with the book preview is added during ebook upload and can be edited under the title's "Book Dashboard." 

In this scenario, it is possible for the book page and book preview to have different descriptions.
