Downloading and Reading an eBook using 3rd party Applications

Aerio requires all readers to use a specific ebook device or app to read an .epub file. Below are instructions on how to read with the most common reader applications:

How to Read With Bluefire

Bluefire reader is a multi-platform e-reading application that offers a wide range of functionality, and is free. You can get full installation instructions for your platform from the Bluefire Website. Once you have downloaded and installed Bluefire, you can use the following instructions to load your ebooks into Bluefire:

• Click the "epub" link for the book you want to load. The link will load in your web browser. Select "Open In..." or "Open In Bluefire".

• Click the "epub" link for the book you want to load. The link will load in your web browser. Select "Open With..." or "Open With Bluefire".

Windows

• Click the "epub" link for the book you want to load. A menu will pop up, asking if you wish to download or open. Select "Open" and choose Bluefire.

How to Read With Kindle

Amazon offers a wide range of readers for different platforms such as iOS, Android, and Windows as well as their own devices. For information on how to download the Kindle reading app for your device, see the Kindle Reads Apps website. Once you have downloaded and installed Kindle, you can use the following instructions to load your ebooks:

• Click the "kindle" link for the book you want to load. The link will load in your web browser. Select "Open In..." or "Open In Kindle App".

• As of today, you cannot directly download and open a kindle file in Kindle for Android. You can download the file to a computer, then connect your device to the computer and load the file that way. Or you could just load the epub version in any epub reading system.

Windows

• Click the "kindle" link for the book you want to load. A menu will pop up, asking if you wish to download or open. Select "Open" and choose Kindle.

How to Read With iBooks

iBooks is an e-book application by Apple Inc. for its iOS and OS X operating systems and devices. It is available via iTunes.

• Click the "epub" link for the book you want to load. The link will load in your web browser. Select "Open in iBooks".

OS X

• Click the "epub" link for the book you want to load. A menu will pop up, asking if you wish to download or open. Select "Open" and choose iBooks.

How to Read with Aldiko

Aldiko is a free full-featured epub reader for Android devices. It is available via Google Play.

• Click the "epub" link for the book you want to load. The link will load in your web browser. Select "Open With..." or "Open With Aldiko".
